Accessible school transport in Queensland
Townsend Buses provides school transport for students with disability. Contact our team to discuss accessible-vehicle options and the arrangements suitable for the student and proposed journey.
Plan the journey around the passenger
Tell us the pickup and destination locations, school schedule, wheelchair or mobility-device details and assistance requirements. Vehicle availability, equipment suitability, boarding assistance and staffing need to be confirmed for the individual service.
Questions to confirm before travel
- Is the proposed route and schedule available?
- Which vehicle and access equipment are suitable for the passenger?
- Who will assist with boarding, travel and handover?
- What information is needed before the service can be confirmed?
If funding assistance may apply, confirm eligibility and payment arrangements with the relevant scheme and Townsend Buses before booking. This page does not confirm NDIS registration or funding eligibility.
